Products of their Environment
Brad Huntzinger and Kate McIntyre, Ironies and Oly

A confluence of cultural heritage, maverick drive and a reverence for nature are partly what make San Francisco what it is – and what designers Kate McIntyre and Brad Huntzinger export from their Berkeley studios. Join the designers in a discussion on the influence of familiar surroundings, and how the Bay Area’s personality is reflected in their design projects and acclaimed IRONIES and OLY furniture collections.

Kate McIntire and Brad Huntzinger formed Ironies in the late 80’s. Being unable to find the environments and furnishings they envisioned, the designers set about creating them. Their early hand-painting business evolved into a full furniture line known for its unique designs, esoteric materials and comfortable, organic feeling.
